Set in a centrally located and quiet neighborhood in Athens, the basement apartment of our stately home has a private exterior entrance, newly renovated space containing a kitchenette and total privacy. For a weekend getaway to Athens or a trip in for a football game, this space is centrally located and designed with guests in mind.

The space
The basement has been newly renovated with an open floor plan containing a king bed, large couch with a pull out queen sofa bed and linens, a kitchenette and dining area. The private apartment also contains a large closet with a pack and play if you are traveling with a baby.

NOTES:
- BREAKFAST KITCHENETTE: There is a refrigerator, a microwave, a toaster, and lots of coffee goodies provided for you! We do not have a stove or oven and no kitchen sink. We will provide a "bus bucket" that you can place dirty dishes in and place outside so we can clean them and return them to you. We have provided dish soap and sponges for cleaning cups and plates that have not been heavily soiled by food in the bathroom sink. Absolutely no food may be washed down the bathroom sink!

Guest access
Guests will have exclusive access to the private basement apartment, with the main house locked off at the stairwell. Guests will use the private exterior entrance with the smart lock + code for all entry/exit from the home.

Other things to note
It should be noted that we do occupy the home in the floors above, along with our two children. We value your privacy as well as our own! We've created the space to allow you to feel as much autonomy as humanly possible. Should you need anything at all, we are only a call, text, or knock away!
