The space
This smartly decorated & organized studio is ~450 square feet, faces the courtyard and gets loads of natural light during the daylight hours. A comfortable well appointed full size murphy bed is provided for your enjoyment. In addition, the couch can be used as additional bedding (mattress and linen located in the walk-in closet). The unit is adorned with all the essentials you need for a comfy stay. Of course, you have access to basic cooking supplies.

Connectivity
Although the unit faces the courtyard, mobile phone service can be spotty- depending on your provider -due to the property's proximity to Homeland Security, Coast Guard, and Air Force Base facilities. High-speed wireless internet is provided for your convenience.

Murphy Bed Instructions
Please watch the Murphy bed tutorial video before operating the bed. This will be sent to you upon booking.The bed is quite heavy, so please handle it with care.

Lowering the bed: Hold the bed securely, pull down the legs, and gently lower it to the floor.

Storing the bed: Lift the bed, fold the legs in, and hold the handles until the bed is fully secured in the upright position.

Extended Stay Verification
To comply with our short-term rental insurance and DC's medium-term housing guidelines, guests staying 28 days or more must provide a copy of their internship offer letter or employment contract within 48 hours of booking. Please redact any sensitive financial or personal information — we only need the employer name and your start and end dates.

Identity Verification
To maintain a safe and trusted community, we require a verified Airbnb profile for all guests and a government-issued photo ID for the primary guest before check-in. The person who books must be the person staying. Third-party bookings are strictly prohibited and will be cancelled without refund.
