A private, clean and inviting 2 bedroom basement apartment nestled in a peaceful neighborhood just outside of Glendale and Cherry Creek. Located right next to a huge park and creek, this apartment has its own tranquil backyard space for you to enjoy. A fully stocked kitchen and living room await, it's a comfy spot to kick back and prep for your CO Adventures, whether you're here for business or for fun. We love our amazing guests! Couples, Families, Singles, and Groups up to 4 are all welcome!

The space
Before we start, here are 3 THINGS PEOPLE LOVE about the hideaway:
1 - Good location: It is simply amazing. Quick and easy access to Glendale, Cherry Creek and not far from downtown Denver. Also close to i-25, parks, Cherry Creek Mall and more!

2 - Peaceful: The Hideaway is set apart from the hustle and bustle of the city, allowing relaxation and space to reset. It has a beautiful and well-maintained yard, a nicely furnished patio space with a large new grill and is also across the street from Garland Park, a quiet yet expansive neighborhood park with sports fields, a lake, sand volley ball pits, tennis courts, a playground for the kids and quick access to Cherry Creek bike path.

3 - Clean and Cozy: The Hideaway is cleaned entirely between each reservation, meaning that you have fresh bed sheets on queen sized beds waiting for you. The one thing I personally don't like when staying at an short term rental is weird or funky bedsheets and linens, so they are all cleaned after every stay. As there is no permanent tenant, keeping this property clean and tidy is easy for us and really nice for you! It is swept, mopped, dusted and no pets ever stay in this house so there is no pet dander or hairs floating around. Smoking, vaping and/or use of inhalants is also not permitted inside. Our guests rave about this and for me it is what I look for when I am traveling!

Here are 3 THINGS TO CONSIDER before renting:
1 - The apartment is not the largest nor smallest space and many families and groups of 4 are very comfortable. Headspace for very tall guests (6’5” and up) may also be something to note.

2 - Location: Although this spot is in a good location, it is not in the heart of Downtown. However, there are some really charming spots nearby. Good restaurants, bars and coffee shops nearby and we do have a lot of great delivery options and a great grocery store a few blocks away. Check out my guestbook for more information!

3 - Air Conditioning - while the Hideaway does have a naturally cool environment being located in the basement, it does not currently have a central A/C system, but we do have fans available for use. In the wintertime it is kept warm and cozy with radiant heat. Most guests are very comfortable with the temperatures.

Now that’s cleared up let get into more details.

Guest access
The minute you walk downstairs through the private entrance, you'll find a simple, cozy and clean two bedroom, 1 bathroom home with carpeted floors and comfortable modern furnishings. Various plantae compliment the space and provide fresh oxygen to those coming from lower altitudes. Local artists' artwork can be found around the home that may be available for sale to those interested.

Outside you'll find a tidy grass yard with trees and plants of all sizes right down the street from Garland park, which has a lot of amenities for the outdoorsy. A large, excellent grill, patio set, cantilever umbrella and hammock is available for use out back as well to enjoy the nice weather!

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would find in a deluxe home, such as nice appliances, a toaster oven, coffee machine, blender, cooking set and everything you could think of to entertain your guests. There is also a washer dryer combo with an iron if you need to do laundry and get ready for a night out on the town or an important meeting first thing in the morning.

The 2 bedrooms all have new deluxe queen-sized beds with new bed sheets and super comfy duvet covers with pillows you can melt into. There are also convenient reading lights for those that like to read or dim the lights.

The living room features a 42'' HDTV with a chromecast, so you can stream anything from your device straight to the TV for your enjoyment or kick back and play some video games. A powerful WIFI connection is available as well so you can catch up on your favorite show or work!
